Navigating international borders should be the easiest part of your journey. Most travelers entering Nepal for trekking can obtain a Tourist Visa on Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu or at land border crossings.
1. Visa Options & Fees (2026)
Fees are payable in USD cash (recommended) or major currencies (EUR, GBP, AUD). We suggest carrying crisp, new bills for a smooth transaction.

Pro-Tip: If your trek is 14 or 28 days, we highly recommend the next tier up. Weather in the Himalayas is unpredictable, and having a "buffer" is safer than paying daily overstay fines.
